Thistles are a wonderful symbol for women who have walked the streets. They are considered a weed with a deep tap root that can shoot through four inch thick concrete.  They still grow on the streets and alleys where the women walk and while they do have a prickly and gangly appearance, they have a royal and soft purple center that makes it a mysterious and gorgeous flower. Thistle Farms also grows their own organic lavender field from which their lavender products are made. Their balms, candles, sachets, eye pillows, bath salts and body scrub are made with the purest ingredients including cotton wicks, soybean based ecowax, sea salt and virgin olive oil and then placed in recyclable containers. Every product is made with an intention of healing and includes a woman’s story card.
